Get What You Think Automagically
If I told you that just by thinking about something you want that you could have that very thing you might say I am for the crazy house!! Yet I am telling you for a fact; if you do what I suggest you will get what you think. The secret is in the word 'Will'. We are going to look at the relationship between your conscious and sub conscious mind and how you can use that to ensure that you achieve your goals ‘automagically’.
A key factor in this and something I want you to think about carefully throughout this article is this; Do you control your mind or does your mind control you? I believe that many people are soo ingrained in their patterns of life that the mind actually controls you and that this is the natural way of things. Succesful people master ways to control the mind and ensure that it is used to best effect in so doing.

Your Mind is Magic
As children we have no problem in believing in magic but by the time we are about 8 or 9 years old Magic, Santa Clause, Fairies, Leprechauns and Unicorns are all consigned to never, never land. Why do our parents tell us these stories in the first place if they know that these things are not real? Perhaps it is because they want to stimulate our growing imaginations or maybe because they were told these things as children and tradition kind of makes them tell us. Whatever the reason it demonstrates a kind of reality check that magical things just don’t happen in the real world. Well I think that they can and do. Not in the sense that there are Unicorns flying around somewhere on the planet, that would be cuckoo but in the sense that things can and do happen that are amazing and can bring us tremendous benefits. One of those things is that if you think intently enough about any realistic and good goal then it can and will happen.

Thinking is a Creative Process!

You Are What You Think
Every aspect of your being, your health, your wealth and your problems in life are all the result of your past thoughts. They are the cumulative effect of your thinking at sometime in the past. Those in life who have lots of money have repeatedly thought about how they will gather money to themselves. Those who are super fit have continually and repeatedly thought about how they will train and get fit and the things they will achieve with it. Those who are alcoholics are in this state because of continued and repeated thoughts of drinking to hide, drown or otherwise run away from their problems in the past. I challenge you to come up with some aspect of your life that changes or can change over time and show me how past thoughts did not directly influence it.
You see thoughts are the very stuff of creation. As far as humans are concerned nothing is created without thought. Thought is your brains call to action from the body. When you ‘feel hungry’ it is because your body has sent a message to the brain informing it that the body is going to need more energy soon. A thought is formed ‘I need something to eat’. If no food is available the feeling subsides for a while and then comes back later, more intensely. In this way your desire to eat is made stronger and then your will to make that event happen becomes unstoppable until eventually you will do anything to get what you want. This is the thought process that we all possess inside us about anything we want in life. If we can use and channel this natural human force then we can achieve any realistic and good thing in life and there are many, many people who do this every day.

The Sub Concious Links The Past and Future
To be able to channel the thought process we must understand a little more about how the mind works. Conventional wisdom splits the mind into two distinct areas known as the conscious mind and the sub conscious mind. The conscious mind is concerned with the thoughts you think every minute of every day. Thoughts like ‘I am going to be late’ or ‘wow, I like that car’ these are the things that take up most of our conscious thinking. They help with instant decision making and are designed to help us survive from moment to moment, day to day. Sub conscious thoughts are different. They are the result of repeated conscious thinking usually triggered by a prominent event in the past and embedded deeply in the sub conscious mind.
The sub conscious provides intentions like ‘I am going to be happy’ or ‘I am going to make money’ or they may be negative intentions like ‘I am not good looking’ or ‘I can’t speak in public’. In either case they are deep seated beliefs or predictions about what the person believes is going to happen. Notice the emphasis on the future. They are suggestions about the future and the mind will do its best in whatever way is possible to make the dominant sub conscious thoughts come true. Just like magic.

Changing Your Mind Repeatedly
How can we harness this mechanism for our benefit? Believe it or not, it’s easy. You need to simply change your mind. Some people would say change your attitude but its more accurate to say change your mind. To do this you need to consciously focus on the things you want for your life and think on them each and every day until it becomes completely ingrained in your sub conscious. The conscious mind will pass the thought repeatedly to your sub conscious mind until this becomes the new dominant thought form in your sub conscious mind.
This process is exactly what happens with any kind of athlete who is training to win a race, it happens with school children learning mental arithmetic and it happens when you learn to drive a car. You focus intently and repeatedly on the activity or thing that you want to do and eventually it becomes automatic. You need to either do the thing you want or visualise yourself successfully doing or getting the thing you want and keep doing it for at least 90 days. By then it will be ingrained in your sub conscious and finally your dreams will come start to come true automagically.
